Directions
Hurricane Hanks is at 5346 Gulf Dr, Holmes Beach, FL 34217, in the middle of Anna Maria Island.
From I-75 (Orlando, Tampa via I-4, and points east)
Take Exit 220 for State Road 64 / Manatee Avenue and head west. Stay on Manatee Avenue through Bradenton and across the bridge onto Anna Maria Island. Where Manatee Avenue ends at the beach, turn right onto Gulf Drive. Hurricane Hanks is on Gulf Drive in Holmes Beach. Look for the big blue HURRICANE HANKS letters over the patio.
From Tampa and St. Petersburg
Take I-275 south across the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, merge onto I-75 south, and take Exit 220 as above.
From Sarasota and points south
Take US-41 north to Cortez Road (State Road 684), head west across the Cortez Bridge into Bradenton Beach, then turn right onto Gulf Drive and follow it north into Holmes Beach. From Longboat Key, follow Gulf of Mexico Drive north over the Longboat Pass Bridge; it becomes Gulf Drive.
Around the island
The free Anna Maria Island Trolley runs the length of the island between Coquina Beach and the Anna Maria City Pier, roughly every 20 minutes, with stops every few blocks. Hop off at the stop nearest 5346 Gulf Drive.
Flying in
Sarasota–Bradenton (SRQ) is the closest airport; Tampa (TPA) is the larger alternative.
